Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Your journey begins with a 6:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam. You’ll be transferred to the SGR station to catch the 8:00 AM train to Morogoro. Upon arrival at around 9:45 AM, your safari guide will meet you and drive you straight to Mikumi National Park, arriving by approximately 10:30 AM.
Begin your wildlife experience with a mid-morning game drive through the park, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and other animals in their natural surroundings. Lunch will be provided inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive that runs until sunset.
In the evening, check in at camp bastian, camp atupele or tan-swiss for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day game drive:
On this day you will do a full day safari
Day 3: Morning Safari & Return to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, head out for a final morning game drive to enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush one more time. At around 3:00 PM, you’ll depart for Morogoro to catch the SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel.
