Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
- Pick-up from your hotel at 6:00 AM and transfer to the SGR train station.
- Board the 9:30 AM train to Morogoro, arriving at 11:10 AM.
- Meet your guide upon arrival and drive to Mikumi National Park.
- Afternoon game drive with lunch inside the park.
- Dinner and overnight at one of the following:
- Camp Bastian
- Camp Atupele
- Tan-Swiss Lodge
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Mikumi
- Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in Mikumi with morning and afternoon game drives.
- Animals you might spot include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, hippos, and more.
- All meals included.
- Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Trekking in Udzungwa Mountains
- After breakfast, head to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
- Hike through the forest with a guide to the beautiful Sanje Waterfalls.
- Enjoy birdwatching, scenic views, and the chance to see endemic monkey species.
- Return in the afternoon.
- Dinner and overnight at the same lodge.
Day 4: Return to Dar es Salaam
- Depart the lodge at 6:30 AM and drive back to Morogoro.
- Board the SGR train at 3:50 PM, arriving in Dar es Salaam at 11:40 PM.
- Drop-off at your hotel, airport, or ferry terminal.
